Simply slide the fixed end onto your Festool guide rail, tighten the thumb turn, then adjust the sliding end to the desired dimension. The parallel guide rail system is made from 20 x 40 aluminium extrusion with 3D printed PLA ends. Width of cut: 215mm(min) – 700mm(max) including your guide rail. +- 3mm fine adjustment. Set the sliding end to 500mm and do a test cut. If the cut is slightly out, loosen the 2 hex screws on the fixed end and adjust. Extension bars are available to increase the max cut to 1250mm (EX+).
