The Makita DMR109W is the updated version of the DMR104W but now accepts the new CXT 10.8v slide in batteries as well as the LXT range of lithium-ion batteries. Featuring DAB and FM tuners with 5 preset channels on each band for your favourite stations and rich stereo sound with excellent bass. The rear compartment hinges open and can accept any Makita Lithium-Ion battery to power the unit with the exception of the “G series” batteries or alternatively can be powered by the supplied mains adaptor. Inside the rear compartment there is a Ø3.5mm audio input for connecting MP3 players or smartphones and a micro USB socket for software updates. Situated on the front panel are 4 control buttons, 5 preset station buttons, volume and auto tune buttons and blue illuminated LED display plus the second aux in and AC power in sockets all protected by twin chrome rails. Battery run time varies upon which battery is installed but typically a 18v 4Ah LXT battery can offer around 20 hours of use per charge. NOTE: Not compatible Ni-CAD, Ni-MH or G Series batteries.
